While doing some woodwork today (for the first time in living memory) I needed to square up an angle – so out came the quilting ruler to the rescue!
I also discovered that sewing and woodwork have a bit in common except that when you put a piece together upside down in woodwork you have to unscrew rather than unpick!
been there, done that. putting wooden things on wrong, I mean. 😆 Never thought of using my quilting ruler for this type of work, though. The useful things I learn from reading blogs!! And that is why I read them.
